“Moving fast in the wrong direction only carries you farther from success more quickly.” – Dad
Two drivers leave Houston at the same time headed North on I-45. One car is traveling 55 mph to Dallas and the other car is heading in the same direction at 105 mph. Which one will reach her intended destination first?
Answer: The 55 mph driver, because the 105 mph driver meant to go to San Antonio – not Dallas.
Moral of the Story: You need to know where you want to end up, select the best route, and check your bearings along the way so you don’t get carried away in the wrong direction, and if you’re moving fast these points are that much more important.
My Girls, I Hope & Pray that you will keep your eyes focused on the place your unique God-Given Purpose (your Dreams) will take you – that you’ll be swift to use the Talents and Gifts He has Given you to serve the people He wants to Love through you. The road to your Dreams will take a lifetime to travel. I recommend you check your bearings often to ensure you’re still heading toward the Son.
Challenge Question: Where are you headed TODAY that will take you to your dreams in the tomorrows to come?
