“Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it.” – Greg Anderson
Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in the destination that we forget to look around and enjoy the journey. In doing so we miss out on the amazing people God brings into our lives, the places through which He takes us, and the opportunities He gives us to be Jesus’ Hands, Feet, and Mouth to those He wants to Love through us. And in missing out of these, we often lose our Joy and Peace.
Now don’t get me wrong, we do need to remember our destination, regularly checking our bearings, so we don’t drift off course and waste our lives, but our Joy and Peace is not found in the destination but in simply Walking with Jesus and fulfilling God’s Purpose for us Today.
My Girls, I Hope and Pray that you will enjoy however many days you have in this world, regardless of your temporary circumstances and find fulfillment in your daily Walk with Jesus, wherever He may lead you.
Challenge Question: What Joy can you find on your journey TODAY?
God’s Word: Philippians 4:10-13, Romans 15:13, 1st John 2:6, & Luke 10:38-42
