Brandy, Addy, and Grace,
“It’s better to fight for something than live for nothing.” – General George S. Patton
We must all choose at least one cause for which to fight – It’s our purpose for being here on this earth. Without at least one good struggle – a struggle that is larger than ourselves and the victory or defeat of which will outlive us, we will go to the grave with the regrets of a wasted life.
My Girls, I’ve had many Good Fights in the Marines for our country and as a Christian, attempting to be the husband, father, friend, and Church and business leader that God has Called me to be, but these are a daily fight of a different nature than those in the Marines – not a battle of flesh and blood but of spirit and faithfulness to my Calling, so that I can one day can reach the end of my life and honestly say, “I have fought the Good Fight… I have finished the Race… I have kept The Faith.” I Hope and Pray that you will make Faith in The Jesus of The Bible your foundation for whatever causes, fights, and dreams that lie before you and that you too will look back on your life knowing that you fought the Good Fight, finished the Race, and kept the Faith.
Challenge Question: What will your fight look like TODAY?
